How it's counted
- Log plank seconds each session
- Target 3,600 seconds (60 min) total — about 2 minutes a day
- Knee, incline, and side planks all count
- Break into multiple sets per day
- Mix front plank and side plank
- Breathe through every hold. After a baby, if your belly domes along the middle, switch to side planks.
- Muscle burn is normal. Chest pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or sharp joint pain: stop and get checked.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Every Adi.fit challenge is free to join with a free account — no credit card, no in-app purchase.
Do I need any equipment?
None. A mat is nice to have, not required.
How much do I need to do each day?
Core and Winter Reset. Accumulate 60 minutes of total plank time across February — about 2 minutes a day. Knee, incline, and side planks all count.
Does it work with Apple Health or Health Connect?
Not directly for this challenge. By hand — log your number on the challenge page whenever you get to it.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing resets. It's a running total for the month, so a missed day just means catching up when you can.
Can beginners do it?
Anyone with a couple of minutes a day, including people rebuilding core strength after a break. Can't hold it in one go? Break each set into shorter holds — the total is what counts. After a baby, side planks are the easier option if your belly domes down the middle.
What happens when I finish?
You get a finisher card to share, and Plank Hour Challenge comes back again next February — same rules, fresh start.
