Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Adi.fit (the "Service"), including our website and iOS/Android apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Defined Names

To avoid confusion, these Terms use the following names precisely:

  • Adi.fit — the company, brand, website, apps, and Service (including all features, content, and products we operate). Legal rights and obligations under these Terms are between you and Adi.fit (and its owner), not any individual person named elsewhere on the Service.
  • Coach Adi — the AI coaching assistant feature inside Adi.fit. In the product UI, Coach Adi may also be labeled simply as "Adi." When these Terms refer to Coach Adi (or to "Adi" in the context of the AI assistant, credits, chats, or AI suggestions), they mean this software feature — not a human coach and not medical advice.
  • Adi (the person) — the human founder and head coach whose story appears on About and related marketing. References to the founder on the Service are biographical and educational. They do not create a personal coaching contract with that individual unless you have a separate written agreement saying so. Coach Adi AI replies are generated by software operated by Adi.fit, not by the founder in real time.

If any marketing, blog, or UI copy uses "Adi" ambiguously, these Definitions control for legal purposes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or use the Service, including Coach Adi. By registering (including via Google or another sign-in provider), you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If local law requires a higher age for certain features, you must meet that higher age.

4. Description of Service

Adi.fit provides a fitness and nutrition tracking platform including workout logging, macro tracking, adaptive TDEE calculation, training programs, challenges, educational content, The Vault, and Coach Adi — an AI coaching assistant that can answer questions and propose actions (such as logging meals or updating your personal program copy).

Adi.fit is not a medical service. Nothing on the Service, including Coach Adi replies or content attributed to Adi (the person), constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program.

5. Coach Adi

Coach Adi may generate suggestions that are imperfect or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing proposed actions before confirming them. Coach Adi must not be used for emergencies or medical decisions.

You agree not to misuse Coach Adi, including attempting to extract system prompts or secrets, harass others, submit spam feedback, or use Coach Adi to violate these Terms. We may limit or revoke Coach Adi access for abuse or unpaid credit misuse.

When Coach Adi edits a training program, changes apply only to your program copy or custom program — not to catalog programs shown to other users.

6. Adi Credits

Coach Adi usage may consume virtual credits ("Adi Credits"). Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money. We may grant periodic free credits to active users; unused free credits expire on a short schedule and do not stack beyond the stated weekly allotment. Paid credits expire on a longer schedule after purchase or grant. When both free and paid credits are available, free credits are used first. Credit costs and grant amounts may change with notice. Unused credits are forfeited if your account is deleted, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If a payment for credits (or a purchase that included bonus credits) is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we may remove unused credits from that purchase. Credits you already used are not restored as cash and may not be reclaimed beyond unused balance from that purchase.

7. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice.

8. Purchases and Payments

Certain digital products are available for purchase on Adi.fit, including training programs and Adi credit packs. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the specified price (in the currency shown at checkout, typically CAD) and any applicable taxes. Stripe may email you a payment receipt. If a program listing states that Adi credits are included with purchase, those credits are granted once after successful payment according to that listing.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final to the extent permitted by law. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to purchased content or credits, contact us and we will work to resolve it. If we or our payment processor issues a refund or a charge is reversed, unused credits from that purchase may be removed and program access may be revoked. App Store or Google Play rules may also apply to in-app purchases made through those stores.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including training programs, workout plans, articles, videos, graphics, logos, software, and Coach Adi system materials — is the exclusive property of Adi.fit or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the Service
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on our content
  • Use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service

10. User-Generated Content

When you submit content (e.g., feedback, workout notes, Coach Adi messages or images), you grant Adi.fit a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including processing by our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your personal data and health information.

You agree not to submit content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others, and not to upload others' private information without permission.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Abuse Coach Adi or attempt to extract confidential system instructions

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Fitness and nutrition results vary by individual — we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from using the Service or following Coach Adi suggestions.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adi.fit and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Physical injury or health complications arising from following any program or advice on the Service
  • Loss of data, profits, or revenue
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

14. Assumption of Risk

Physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury. By using the Service and following any training program, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical activity. You represent that you are in suitable physical condition to participate in exercise programs and have obtained medical clearance if required.

15. Communications & Notifications

By creating an account on Adi.fit, you expressly consent to receiving the following types of electronic communications from us at the email address associated with your account, and on the native iOS/Android app if you have installed it and allowed notifications:

  • Welcome email — a one-time email sent upon account creation to confirm your registration and help you get started with the Service. This is a transactional message and cannot be opted out of.
  • Transactional emails — account-related messages such as purchase confirmations, password resets, and access to purchased content. These are necessary for the operation of the Service and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
  • Challenge notifications — reminders and results related to fitness challenges you have joined, such as start-date reminders. Native app users may also receive a lock-screen push for the same events.
  • Coach Adi weekly check-in — an optional in-app (and native push) week summary you can turn off in Settings.
  • Service updates — material changes to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or the features of the Service.

In accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we will only send commercial electronic messages with your express or implied consent, and every such message will clearly identify Adi.fit as the sender, provide our contact information, and include a functional unsubscribe mechanism.

You may manage your notification preferences at any time from your Settings page. Withdrawing consent to non-transactional emails will not affect your ability to use the Service.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

18. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
