You Don't Need a Gym to Get Strong
Between school pickups, work deadlines, and weekend hockey, finding time to hit the gym can feel impossible. The good news? Some of the most effective workouts require nothing but your bodyweight and 30 minutes.
The 10 Workouts
- Push-up circuits – 4 rounds of max push-ups with 60s rest. Simple, brutal, effective.
- Squat to press with a backpack – Load a backpack with books. 4x12.
- Staircase sprints – 10 rounds up and down your stairs. Your legs will hate you.
- Plank holds – 3 rounds of 60-second holds. Core of steel.
- Burpees – 5 rounds of 10. Hate them. Do them anyway.
- Towel rows – Hook a towel around a door handle. 4x15 rows.
- Glute bridges – 4x20. Great for the posterior chain.
- Mountain climbers – 3x30 seconds. Cardio without leaving the house.
- Tricep dips on a chair – 4x15. Burn those arms.
- Bear crawls – 3x20 metres across your living room. Full body.
The Bottom Line
Consistency beats perfection every time. Pick 3-4 of these and rotate them through your week. In 4 weeks you'll feel the difference.
